MilkandEggs.com Making Life Easy!

Fresh produce and meats at your door step.

I'm part of several generations of women that cook most of the meals that our families consume.  Life today is very different and very fast paced!  Fastforward to 2016 and our schedules are JAM PACKED...sometimes leaving minimal time for life's necessities like regular grocery store visits.  True story, one week I made a menu and grocery list and YES, a trip to the grocery store...the next week it seems as if I made a detour thru the Twilight Zone because I was in the grocery store every single day.  Either we needed our beloved spring salad mix or my husband(sorry to out you sweetie) forgot to pick up potatoes for dinner.  So trust me when I tell you of the joy and excitement I felt when I came across MilkandEggs fresh grocery delivery service.

It was hard for my husband to believe that we would have all the fresh organic produce and grass fed and organic meats delivered to our front door in just under two days.  Rest assure I placed my order Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning, in the pouring rain, my MilkandEggs delivery was there, all wrapped in a water proof bag. That was a very good day for me!  You get one chance to make a good impression and they absolutely stepped up and made a huge one.

My order consisted of mostly meats and select produce.  I chose to order this was because I figured if MilkandEggs got it right with organic and grass fed chicken, beef, turkey and premium Atlantic salmon then the produce would be a no brainer.  I was so glad that I made that choice.  With every bite we could taste the difference in the meat, poultry and fish.

Growing up in the 80s I can recall when hormones and GMO foods were NOT an issue unlike today.  So when I ate a piece of chicken I instantly knew this company only worked with top grade farmers.  It was delicious, and tasted like chicken and was very filling.  The same holds true for the salmon filet.  I did not have to add a ton of seasoning to them and we all had two pieces each.  My sons were very quick to tell me that his salmon tasted a lot better than what we normally buy at our local grocery store chain here in Los Angeles.  You know it's major when the kids make a comment like that.

Maybe it's a Southern California thing, but we also eat a lot of raw vegetables.  The mini sweet peppers were bursting with flavor.  They varied in size and were brightly colored.  From my experience with produce this is usually a sign that they are genuinely organic, grown naturally with no extras!  Just rinse and eat.

I've seen several grocery delivery services and just didn't believe that my food would be as fresh as if I were to go into the super market myself.  MilkandEggs really delivered and changed my attitude towards grocery delivery services.  They have an automatic reorder option and from my experience, it's definitely worth it.  As the majority decision maker for food in our home, I really had a peace of mind serving the meals that I had prepared knowing that my family and myself were consuming foods that our bodies would love us for.

For a limited time Macaroni Kid readers get to use discount code mackid at checkout to take $20 off your order.  That's a lot of free organic produce or a great introduction to organic meat and poultry.  Give it a try, you will be glad you did!
